Bill Rambo

Street photography is the biggest influence on my work. I like to photograph people being natural in their environment, trying something new, having fun or simply experiencing any kind of real emotion. I try not to pose my subjects whenever possible.

I also enjoy shooting nature and architecture when there's no one around. I tend to look for odd angles when shooting a building or structure, especially one that gets photographed heavily by other people. My photo of the Neptune statue, for instance, was praised by even Virginia Beach natives who had lived with that thing for years and had seen practically every possible photo of it already.
